Earthworks Earthworks, one of the few standing Wonders, built by the dwarven mountain folk, were considered by many enemy tacticians to be the 'Untouchable'.
For centuries, many armies were crushed miles before they even come to the visible range of the fortress. Those who had seen it, and lived, both venerated and feared for it. The humongous stone cannon had become a legend passed through their generations, woven into war stories and always find its way over a couple pints of mead.
But for the dwarves, it represented a monumental historical marriage of sculpture and engineer.
